2 People Hospitalized in Santa Barbara Auto Accident on Highway 1 near Firefighter Road
SANTA BARBARA, CA (August 22, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a disastrous rollover crash on Highway 1 near Firefighter Road injured two people.
The incident happened at around 2:00 p.m. on Highway 1 near Firefighter Road.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the incident involved a vehicle that crashed and rolled over for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated a female occupant of the vehicle who was trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported two female patients to a hospital with minor and moderate injuries.
Furthermore, the crash closed northbound Highway 1, but has long since reopened.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
