1 Person Hurt in Tucson Auto Accident on State Route 86 near Three Points
TUCSON, AZ (February 14, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a disastrous police chase crash on State Route 86 near Three Points injured one person.
The incident happened at around 8:00 a.m. on State Route 86 checkpoint near Three Points.
According to reports, a vehicle being pursued by Tohono O’odham Police struck a Border Patrol agent. Then, the vehicle crashed at West Ajo Way and South Mission Road.
Moreover, responders airlifted the Border Patrol agent to Banner University Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, responders arrested one occupant of the vehicle, while another occupant of the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
