VERNON, CA (April 10, 2024) – Tuesday morning, authorities reported injuries after a disastrous police chase crash on Pico Boulevard.

The incident started at around 10:00 a.m. on Pico Boulevard in the East L.A. area.

According to reports, the suspect almost struck a pedestrian while being chased by authorities. Then, the suspect vehicle struck multiple LASD vehicles before entering a parking lot of a warehouse on Bickett Street near the border of Vernon and Huntington Park.

Moreover, officers managed to arrest the suspect who ran inside the warehouse. Then, paramedics transported multiple LASD officers who sustained no serious injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
