Injuries Reported in Victorville Pedestrian Accident on Sixth Street and D Street

VICTORVILLE, CA (August 4, 2024) – Friday night, a disastrous pedestrian crash on Sixth Street and D Street injured 1 person.

The incident happened at 9:10 p.m. on Sixth Street and D Street. Reports said that the incident involved a pedestrian and a silver Honda sedan.

The Victorville City Fire Department arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian lying on the roadway. They called for a medical helicopter.

The woman was taken by ambulance to Victor Valley Global Medical Center, where she was then airlifted to a trauma center outside the area.

The driver of the Honda involved in the incident stayed at the scene and was uninjured. Witnesses reported that he was among the first to call 911. 

D Street was closed for about two hours as deputies conducted their investigation.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
