1 Person Hurt in Black Canyon Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 17 and Coldwater Road
BLACK CANYON, AZ (August 11, 2024) – Friday morning, a disastrous pedestrian crash on Interstate 17 and Coldwater Road injured one person.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on southbound Interstate 17 at Coldwater Road.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders rushed the pedestrian to a hospital with serious injuries.
Furthermore, the crash closed southbound Interstate 17 but has long since reopened.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Arizona Department of Transportation continued investigating the crash.
