1 Person Hurt in Kirby Pedestrian Accident on FM 78 and Jaenke Street
KIRBY, TX (February 8, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a disastrous pedestrian crash on FM 78 and Jaenke Street injured one person.
The incident happened at around 12:20 a.m. on FM 78 and Jaenke Street, not far from Gibbs Sprawl Road and Kirby Middle School.
According to the Kirby Police, a gold-colored sedan struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders rushed the pedestrian to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, officers detained the driver of the sedan on suspicion of DWI.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Kirby Police continued to investigate the crash.
