MADERA, CA (September 20, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a disastrous pedestrian crash on Ellis Street near Owens Street injured one person.

The incident happened on Ellis Street near Owens Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway in a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, responders rushed the 8-year-old victim to a hospital with major injuries. Also, the 8-year-old brother of the victim who was also hit by the vehicle sustained no injuries in the incident.
