2 People Hurt in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on 2900 Interstate 35
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 22, 2024) – Saturday night, a disastrous pedestrian crash on 2900 Interstate 35 injured two people.
The incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Interstate 35.
According to reports, a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped in the southbound lanes. Then, the force of the crash pushed the second vehicle to strike the female driver of the vehicle and another motorist who was stranded in the roadway.
Moreover, responders transported the female driver with critical injuries and the motorist who was in stable condition, to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, officers confirmed that the female driver stopped to help the stranded motorist and was on the side of the road when the crash occurred.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the SAPD continued to investigate the crash.
