Roads Closed after Victorville Multi-Vehicle Accident on Mojave Drive and Topango Road

VICTORVILLE, CA (July 10, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on Mojave Drive and Topango Road led to injuries.

The crash involving four cars happened at about 11:25 a.m. on Mojave Drive and Topango Road.

Reports revealed that the crash involved a black Kia Optima, a black GMC Sierra, a burgundy Honda Accord, and an unidentified burgundy SUV, which rolled over and landed in the desert.

The Victorville City Fire Department promptly responded to the scene and requested a medical helicopter to transport a critically injured individual to a trauma center. Two other injured individuals were taken to nearby hospitals by ground ambulances.

For safety and to facilitate the investigation, Victorville City Public Works has closed Mojave Drive between Amargosa Road and Don Roberto Road. 

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
