3 People Hurt in Phoenix Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 17 near Greenway Road

PHOENIX, AZ (December 9, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a disastrous traffic crash on Interstate 17 near Greenway Road injured three people.

The incident happened at around 11:45 a.m. on Interstate 17 near Greenway Road.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident involved multiple unidentified vehicles.

Moreover, responders transported at least three people to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed all lanes except the HOV lane but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Arizona Department of Public Safety continued to investigate the crash.
