4 People Hurt in Madera County Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 41 and Avenue 12

MADERA COUNTY, CA (August 28, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on Highway 41 and Avenue 12 injured four people.

The incident happened on northbound Highway 41 and Avenue 12.

According to reports, a vehicle failed to stop in time and rear-ended a white Honda Accord. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Honda to crash into a Volkswagen, which then in turn crashed into a Nissan. Also, the Nissan was pushed and collided with a Chevy truck, which then in turn crashed into a Lexus.

Moreover, responders transported four people to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed northbound Highway 41 but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
