UPTON COUNTY, TX (April 2, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on FM 1555 and SH 349 led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of FM 1555 and SH 349.

According to the DPS, the incident involved as many as 30 vehicles.

Moreover, officers confirmed that multiple injuries were sustained in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities said that visibility is limited due to high winds and dust.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the DPS continued to investigate the crash.
