Injuries Reported in Austin Multi-Vehicle Accident on 9800 US Highway 290 near Harris Branch Parkway

AUSTIN, TX (July 4, 2023) – Monday morning, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on 9800 US Highway 290 near Harris Branch Parkway sent 3 people to the hospital.

The incident happened before 9:38 a.m. in the 9800 block of Highway 290 eastbound near Harris Branch Parkway.

Officers revealed that the crash involved two to three vehicles. Then, responders took three adults to Dell Seton.

Then, two of the patients were declared trauma alerts with potentially serious injuries. Meanwhile, the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
