3 People Hurt in Phoenix Multi-Vehicle Accident near Interstate 17 and Peoria Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (April 22, 2024) – Saturday morning, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash near Interstate 17 and Peoria Avenue injured three people.
The incident happened at around 10:00 a.m. near Interstate 17 and Peoria Avenue.
According to reports, a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed and in a reckless manner, lost control and collided with multiple vehicles. Then, a patrol vehicle that was responding to the crash struck a child who exited one of the vehicles and ran into the roadway.
Moreover, responders transported the child with serious injuries and two men with unknown injuries, to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, authorities arrested several people who authorities believed, fled the vehicle that was being pursued by officers.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
