Injuries Reported in Knob Roster Motorcycle Accident on US 50 and Route D

KNOB NOSTER, MO (November 4, 2024) – Friday night, a disastrous motorcycle crash on US 50 and Route D injured 1 person.

The incident at about 9:45 p.m. in the area of U.S. 50 and Route D, east of Knob Noster.

First responders reported finding that a 56-year-old Warrensburg man, driving a 2025 Harley Davidson motorcycle east on the highway, had rear-ended a 2016 Ford Escape driven by a 77-year-old man from Sedalia. State 

Troopers stated that the motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Research Hospital in Kansas City. 

The Sedalia man, who was wearing a seatbelt, was uninjured. 

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
