1 Person Hurt in Pacific Beach Motorcycle Accident on 1800 Grand Avenue and Kendal Avenue
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (July 23, 2024) – Sunday night, a disastrous motorcycle crash on 1800 Grand Avenue and Kendal Avenue injured one person.
Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:33 p.m. at 1800 Grand Avenue and Kendal Avenue.
According to the San Diego Police Department, a westbound 2020 Jeep Cherokee started a southbound turn onto Kendal Avenue and collided with a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle that entered the bicycle lane to pass traffic.
Responding paramedics transported the 22-year-old male rider of the motorcycle to a hospital with an open fracture of the left shinbone and calf bone.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the SDPD Traffic Division continued to investigate the crash.
