Injuries Reported in Fresno County Pedestrian Accident on Temperance Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (December 23, 2023) – Friday night, a disastrous hit-and-run crash on Temperance Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident happened at 7:05 p.m. when a vehicle struck a 46-year-old woman on the shoulder of Temperance Avenue, said CHP spokesman Mike Salas.

After the crash, the vehicle fled the crash scene. Meanwhile, responders took the female pedestrian to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. However, her condition remained unknown as of this writing.

Also, the crash shut down the roadway.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
