BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 16, 2023) – Saturday night, a disastrous hit-and-run crash on Kentucky Street and Alta Vista Drive injured 1 person.

The incident happened at 6:48 p.m. in the area of Kentucky Street and Alta Vista Drive. Reports said that the incident involved a vehicle and a bicyclist.

When the officers arrived, they found an adult male bicyclist down on the road with major injuries. Thus, they took the patient to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Meanwhile, the preliminary investigation said that the bicyclist was heading west on Kentucky Street. Then, an involved vehicle traveling west on Kentucky Street hit the bicyclist.

After the crash, the involved vehicle fled the crash scene.
