Disastrous Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 20 Injures Motorcyclist [Burlington, WA]

WSP Searching Suspect in SUV-Motorcycle Crash on Highway 20

Burlington, WA (July 4, 2023) On Monday morning, a motorcycle driver was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 20.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), that the SUV-motorcycle crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. on westbound Highway 20 between Sedro-Woolley and Burlington.

Reports say that a westbound Honda Pilot struck a motorcycle, and the impact of the collision forced both vehicles off the road.

The collision left the motorcyclist hurt and was transported to United General Medical Center. Meanwhile, the SUV driver fled the scene, no word on how they managed to do so.

Officials say that both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Authorities are searching for the suspect driver who remains at large.
