1 Person Hurt in Merced County Auto Accident on Highway 140 near Arboleda Drive

MERCED COUNTY, CA (November 13, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a disastrous head-on crash on Highway 140 near Arboleda Drive injured one person.

The incident happened at around 9:00 a.m. on Highway 140 near Arboleda Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Civic lost control for still unknown reasons and collided head-on with a truck. Then, the force of the crash split the Civic into two.

Moreover, responders transported the 16-year-old female driver of the Civic, and the driver of the truck, to a hospital with minor injuries.

The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
