Injuries Reported in Solano County Traffic Crash on Interstate 80 near Red Top Road Offramp

SOLANO COUNTY, CA (May 19, 2024) – Saturday, a disastrous fiery accident on Interstate 80 near Red Top Road offramp injured 2 people.

The incident happened on Interstate 80 near the Red Top Road offramp.

Two people sustained minor injuries after their car fell off Interstate 80 in Solano County, overturned, and caught fire. 

According to the Fairfield Fire Department, both occupants managed to exit the vehicle before it caught fire. They were subsequently taken to the hospital.

The Red Top Road on and off ramps are closed while crews work in the area.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
