7 People Hospitalized in San Antonio Traffic Accident on Loop 1604 and Highway 90

SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 20, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a disastrous bus crash on Loop 1604 and Highway 90 injured seven people.

The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Highway 90.

According to reports, an 18-wheeler ran a red light and struck a bus with twenty Scobee Middle School aboard.

Moreover, responders transported six students and the bus driver to a hospital in stable condition. Also, officers confirmed that the other students aboard the bus were evaluated and released at the scene.

Furthermore, authorities reported that five of the six students and the bus driver were released with one victim still recovering.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
