6 People Hurt in Santa Cruz Bus Accident on Coolidge Drive
SANTA CRUZ, CA (December 13, 2023) – Tuesday night, a disastrous bus crash on Coolidge Drive injured six people.
Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. on Coolidge Drive.
According to UCSC Police Chief Kevin Domby, a UC Santa Cruz loop bus veered off the roadway and crashed into one of the Old Cowell Ranch buildings for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders rushed two people to Valley Medical Center in Santa Clara with major injuries. Then, paramedics transported four more people to Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz with unknown injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the UCSC Police continued to investigate the crash.
