ELLENSBURG, WA (July 11, 2024) – On Thursday, a disastrous boat crash on Columbia River near Kittitas County injured one person.
The incident happened on the Columbia River near Kittitas County.
According to the Kittitas County deputies, a boat traveling towards the Kittitas County side of the Columbia River ran aground on the dry shoreline for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders transported the boater with a broken leg and his passenger with non-life-threatening injuries, to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, authorities said that the 30-year-old Sedro Wooley man who was piloting the boat, navigated in the dark using a depth finder and crashed.
