CALIPATRIA, CA (November 12, 2024) – Monday morning, a disastrous big rig crash on Highway 111 near Yocum Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 6:41 a.m. on Highway 111 near Yocum Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig and a compact car collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, firefighters extricated and transported the driver of the car to Pioneers Memorial Hospital with a back injury.
