Injuries Reported in Van Zandt County Auto Accident on Van Zandt County Road 1806

VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (August 28, 2023) – Sunday morning, a disastrous ATV crash on Van Zandt County Road 1806 injured 5 people.

The incident happened at around 12:26 a.m. at the 900 block of Van Zandt County Road 1806.

According to Fire Chief Jeremy Barker, an ATV lost control and crashed on a private property.

Moreover, UT Air 1 North and several other agencies responded to the scene and transported a total of five people to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office continued to investigate the crash.
