SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 2, 2023) – Sunday night, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on State Highway 16 near Jett Road injured two people.

The incident happened on State Highway 16 near Jett Road.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, a silver truck veered towards the oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a black vehicle. Then, the occupants of the truck fled the scene on foot after the collision.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the driver of the black vehicle who was trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported two juvenile passengers of the black vehicle to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, authorities believe that the driver of the black vehicle was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
