Injuries Reported in Palm Desert Auto Accident on Fred Waring Drive and Washington Street
PALM DESERT, CA (November 20, 2024) – Monday night, a disastrous 2-car crash on Fred Waring Drive and Washington Street injured 2.
The incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. on Fred Waring Drive and Washington Street.
Deputies at the scene discovered that the driver of one vehicle sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. At the same time, a passenger in the second vehicle also had non-life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to the hospital. A juvenile in the second vehicle, who appeared uninjured, was also transported to the hospital as a precaution.
Traffic in the area was delayed for over an hour as vehicles were rerouted along Fred Waring during the cleanup.
