20-Year-Old Dirk Couvson Critically Injured in Arden Way Collision [Sacramento, CA]

Sacramento, CA (January 10, 2024) – 20-year-old Dirk Couvson was seriously injured following an Arden Way collision Sunday night.

The traffic accident happened before 11 p.m. on Harvard Street.

Officers said Couvson was riding a motorcycle that was hit by a vehicle that fled before the authorities arrived.

Immediately, Couvson was transported to UC Davis Hospital where he remains in ICU.

The victim’s mother said his foot was amputated the night of the collision. Couvson also sustained a broken femur and wrist and his brain had a bruise.
