FRESNO, CA (January 22, 2021) – Thursday night, Dickie Baker, 53, died following a crash on Cedar Avenue near McKinley Avenue.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened at about 6:30 p.m.
 
A vehicle struck the man on Cedar Avenue, between McKinley Avenue and Olive Avenue.
 
The authorities confirmed that the man was jay-walking across Cedar Avenue when the crash happened.
 
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver escaped at the crash and hasn’t been identified at this time.
 
On the other hand, responders transported the pedestrian to a local. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries.
