Fatality Reported in Redding Auto Accident on Interstate 5 near Oasis Road

REDDING, CA (June 12, 2022) – Friday night, Devyn Lewis sustained injuries in a fatal crash on Interstate 5 near Oasis Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident happened at Interstate 5, just south of Oasis Road.

Reports revealed that a wrong-way vehicle caused the collision.

Apparently, Randall Lewis, 69, of Bella Vista drove into the opposite lane for unknown reasons. Then, the now deceased driver collided with Randall Lewis.

As a result, Devyn’s vehicle ran into a automobile driven by by Gurtej Singh Sidhu, 38.

Moreover, officials confirmed Randall James Lewis dead at the scene.

They transported Devyn Lewis to Mercy Medical Center, according to Redding CHP.

Sidhu claimed to suffer no injuries immediately following the crash.

Furthermore, the collision blocked all northbound lanes of the interstate.
