24-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Accident on 3600 Block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (February 12, 2018) – Around 6 PM on Monday evening, a Thousand Oaks motorcyclist was struck and killed by an SUV on the 3600 block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Devin Humphrey, 24, was riding a motorcycle westbound on Thousand Oaks Blvd, when he collided with an SUV that was turning into a shopping center. According to Michael Tellez, an investigator with the Ventura County Examiner’s Office, the 26-year-old female driver remained on the scene and cooperated with officials.
Humphry suffered multiple blunt-force wounds, and was transported to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver or the SUV sustained minor injuries.
The fatal accident remains under investigation by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, which oversees the Thousand Oaks Police.
