HARRIS COUNTY, TX (May 29, 2023) – Sunday morning, a devastating wrong-way crash on 8500 Katy Freeway killed 3 people.

The incident happened at around 2:10 a.m. in the 8500 block of the Katy Freeway, said the Harris County Precinct 5.

According to the preliminary information, a Honda driver allegedly traveled the wrong way. Then, they crashed into a Toyota Camry head-on.

Officers confirmed that two people occupied the Honda while the Camry only had one occupant.

However, all three parties succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t clarified which direction the Honda was driving.
