1 Person Dead in Grays Harbor Auto Accident on State Route 108 and State Route 8

GRAYS HARBOR, WA (July 22, 2024) – Friday noon, a devastating two-vehicle crash on State Route 108 and State Route 8 killed one person.

The incident happened at around noon, on State Route 108 at State Route 8.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a vehicle collided with a second vehicle that was stopped to make a left turn.

Moreover, responders rushed the driver of the second vehicle, a 70-year-old Port Angeles man, to Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma where he was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported the two occupants of the first vehicle, a man and woman in their 60s, to Summit Pacific Medical Center with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Washington State Patrol continued to investigate the crash.
