VAN NUYS, CA (October 14, 2024) – Sunday morning, a devastating two-vehicle crash on 405 Freeway and Sherman Way killed one person.

The incident happened around 5:20 a.m. on the San Diego (405) Freeway at Sherman Way.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Ford F-150 pick-up and an unknown vehicle collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that one person died in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed all northbound lanes of 405 Freeway at Sherman Way but has long since reopened.
