BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 15, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a devastating traffic crash on East Lerdo Highway and Driver Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on East Lerdo Highway and Driver Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two unidentified vehicles collided for still unknown reasons. Then, one of the vehicles erupted into flames after the crash.
