SANTA CLARITA, CA (September 1, 2024) – Saturday morning, a devastating single-vehicle crash on Bouquet Canyon and Spunky Canyon Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:20 a.m. on Bouquet Canyon and Spunky Canyon roads.

According to CHP Officer Sergio Garcia, a gray two-door BMW lost control for still unknown reasons and crashed into a tree.

Moreover, Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced one person, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed one person to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed the area of the crash but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
