1 Person Dead in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on S Broadway and S El Segundo Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 10, 2024) – Saturday morning, a devastating pedestrian crash on S Broadway and W El Segundo Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened around 12:44 a.m. at the intersection of South Broadway and West El Segundo Boulevard, near Athens Park.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Sergio Garcia, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers arrested one person after the crash for unspecified reasons.

The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
