MIRA MESA, CA (April 3, 2024) – Monday night, a devastating pedestrian crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard and Westview Parkway killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:40 p.m. on Mira Mesa Boulevard and Westview Parkway.

According to the San Diego Police, a westbound Ford Expedition struck a male pedestrian who was crossing the roadway in an area where pedestrian crossing was not allowed.
