DALLAS, TX (November 7, 2023) – Early Monday morning, a devastating pedestrian crash on Interstate 35E and Market Center Boulevard killed 1 person.

The incident happened when a person tried to cross Interstate 35E and Market Center Boulevard, just northwest of downtown, around 1:50 a.m.

Then, a vehicle struck and killed the pedestrian who tried to cross the northbound lanes of the highway, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.

Moreover, the incident shut down all lanes of the highway early Monday as officials responded to the incident.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
