The incident happened at around 10:00 p.m. on eastbound Highway 92 near the Delaware Street offramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound CHP Redwood City marked patrol vehicle struck a pedestrian who ran in front of the vehicle.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the victim died in the crash.
