1 Dead in Boyle Heights Pedestrian Accident on Golden State Freeway and San Bernardino Freeway

BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (June 30, 2024) – Saturday morning, a devastating pedestrian crash on Golden State Freeway and San Bernardino Freeway.

The incident involving a pedestrian and a semi-truck happened at around 12:48 a.m. It occurred near the transition road from the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway and the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway.

When the authorities, they located the pedestrian in one of the freeway lanes, CHP Officer Erik Larsen revealed.

The pedestrian, whose name, gender, and age have not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Larsen.

The CHP issued a SigAlert, closing three lanes of the transition road foto investigatehe crash.
