1 Person Dead in Bellflower Pedestrian Accident on 91 Freeway and Lakewood Boulevard

BELLFLOWER, CA (January 4, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a devastating pedestrian crash on 91 Freeway and Lakewood Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:45 a.m. on the westbound Artesia (91) Freeway at Lakewood Boulevard.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig, a vehicle stuck a person for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the victim died in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed all lanes of the freeway, except the HOV lane.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
