Police say that the traffic accident happened on Seventh Street between C and D Streets, near the 76 gas station, at around 9:38 p.m.

Reports say that a vehicle struck a pedestrian, the impact of the crash injured the person, and rescuers requested an airlift to a hospital.

A ground ambulance transported the patient to a helipad at Victor Valley Global Medical Center, afterward, Mercy Air 22 airlifted the patient to Antelope Valley Hospital.

The collision blocked Southbound 7th Street. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene. Victorville PD is investigating the pedestrian crash and has not released additional information about the accident.
