WICHITA COUNTY, TX (May 16, 2023) – Sunday, a devastating multi-vehicle wreck on US 287 near FM 369 killed 2 people.

The incident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. on US 85 between FM 369 and Rifle Range Road.

According to reports, the incident involved at least three semi-trucks and one vehicle. Meanwhile, DPS officials said that the incident involved a total of six vehicles.

Moreover, the Department of Public Safety officials confirmed that two people died in the crash.

Also, the authorities shut down both east and westbound lanes between FM 369 and Rifle Range Road. Thus, officials urged drivers to avoid the area.
