PHOENIX, AZ (March 4, 2024) – Sunday night, a devastating multi-vehicle crash near 23rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road killed 1 person.

The crash happened at 6:30 p.m. near 23rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road, just east of Interstate 17.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, one person was pulled out of their vehicle and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, another person succumbed to injuries at the scene. However, the authorities haven’t disclosed their identities yet.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Fire also evaluated a third person in a separate vehicle, but they declined hospitalization.
