1 Person Dead in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 30 and Buckner Boulevard

DALLAS, TX (June 27, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a devastating hit-and-run crash on Interstate 30 and Buckner Boulevard killed one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 6:30 a.m. on Interstate 30 and Buckner Boulevard.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, a gray 2017-2020 Honda struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Responders pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the crash closed eastbound Interstate 30 near Dallas Love Field.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office continued to investigate the crash.
