SAN DIEGO, CA (November 6, 2023) – Saturday night, a devastating hit-and-run crash on 300 47th Street killed a man in his 50s.

The incident happened at around 7:15 p.m. when a man was walking southbound in the northbound lane of 300 47th Street. Then, a white Ford F-250 pickup truck that was going north hit him

Then, the truck escaped the crash scene northbound on 47th Street.

Meanwhile, responders transported the man to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Furthermore, the San Diego police urged anyone who saw the crash to contact the SDPD, or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
