1 Dead in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident on 15th Avenue and 60th Street

SACRAMENTO, CA (December 25, 2023) – Saturday morning, a devastating hit-and-run crash on 15th Avenue and 60th Street killed 1 person.

The authorities responded to the scene at around 2:15 a.m. in the area of 15th Avenue and 60th Street in Tahoe Park South for a report of a person lying on the ground.

When the officers arrived, they found a man in his 30s, unresponsive in the roadway. Then, the Sacramento Fire Department medics declared the man dead at the scene. Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the victim due to pending family notification.

“Based on the evidence on scene, officers believed the victim was hit by a vehicle,” the department said. “That vehicle was not on scene when police arrived.”

Members of the department’s Major Collision Investigation unit handle the case. However, the authorities haven’t disclosed any suspect description or vehicle.
