OAKLAND, CA (April 2, 2024) – Monday morning, a devastating hit-and-run crash near 98th Avenue and San Leandro Street killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 5:45 a.m. near 98th Avenue and San Leandro Street.

Reports revealed that a man was found lying on the road with injuries sustained after being hit by a car.

Authorities added that after the crash, the vehicle had left the scene.
